All about that grace

Hi, I’m Grace, and I just love stories.

Books, audio books, movies… I love them all. My house is overflowing with books and DVDs (yes, I’m one of the people who still treasures DVDs!)

I believe that stories can speak to our hearts and minds in ways that facts just can’t! That’s probably why Jesus used parables. They tend to be more memorable and leave us pondering their meanings.

They can also help to encourage us. Like in the story of Joseph (Genesis chapters 37-50): God works all the bad things in Joseph’s life to good, not just for him but for his family and the whole world!

My favourite story is the awesome story of God’s grace and how it can transforms us! This blog is a celebration of stories of grace, where I will share personal reflections, insights and beloved resources.

In the Book Nook, there are a selection of books for adults and children that I have enjoyed and found in revealling some of the truth of God’s grace. For example Stories Jesus Told by Nick Butterworth and Mick Inkpen retells some of the parables of Jesus in a relatable way for children and adults!

I am extremely blessed to have a daughter – who I’ll be referring to as Bee – who will pop up from time to time. Also a longsuffering husband who discusses my ideas with me.
